The Environmental Committee of the Jeddah Chamber participated in the activities of the 6th International Environment and Sustainable Development Forum in Jeddah under the theme "Environmental Technology Transfer", which will be hosted by Jeddah Municipality for two days. The conference will be organized by the General Authority for Meteorology and Protection under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - Preservation of God - amid the presence of more than 200 local and international environmental experts.
The seminar was held under the title "Green Economy in the Industry Sector to Support Sustainability in the Vision of the Kingdom 2030" with the participation of the Chairman of the Environment Committee of the Jeddah Chamber and the CEO of the Environmental Technology Company, Dr. Dina Al Nahdi, Director of Natural Resources Department at the General Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Protection Dr. Nayef Al Shalhoub, Saudi Green Building Engineer Bandar Al Rayes and Bin Zaqer Plant Manager at Unilever Eng. Mohammed Al Sufayani Environmental Sustainability in the National Transformation 2020 Program.
The green economy, sustainability of environmental growth, green buildings and industrial practices are a successful experience in the industry at the 6th International Forum for Environment and Sustainable Development in the Gulf, the largest gathering of its kind in the Middle East. Who are interested in the environment and sustainable development, especially in light of attracting large environmental companies to present the latest developments in the field of modern technology related to the environment.
The exhibition also included an exhibition of 3000 square meters, in which more than 60 exhibitors from public and private sectors related to the environment and private sectors serving environmental work in the framework of social responsibility participated.
