The Environment Committee participated in a workshop in the Education and Environment Forum at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jeddah on Wednesday, 19 April 2017, with a large number of governmental and private bodies including the UNESCO Office, the United Nations Environment Program, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Environment, King Abdullah University, King Abdul Aziz University, the University of Business and Technology, the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science, and the Office of Future Experts.
Where education is one of the most important goals of sustainable development, through which everyone can acquire the knowledge, skills, values ​​and trends to contribute through programs and activities that promote it. The Environment Committee's mission is to be the environmental advisory arm of the various sectors to improve economic efficiency by strengthening partnerships and providing effective strategies and tools for planning and implementation to guarantee the right of people in a safe and sound environment. The Environment Committee workshop will focus on challenges, hopes and expectations to reach the goals of sustainable development.
